Understanding the Dashboard
Dashboard is the first item in the left-hand navigation and is the screen you land on right after logging in. It's a read-only summary page — nothing on it is a form to fill out — that gives you an at-a-glance view of your organization: how many members and properties you have, the status of your invoices and members, who's been recently active, and (if you're personally attached to a property in your own community) any bills or property details tied to your own account.
Organization summary and Quick Actions
Near the top of the page, two tiles show:
- MEMBERS — a count of the members in your organization.
- PROPERTIES — a count of the properties in your organization.
Next to the tiles, Quick Actions offers three shortcut buttons that jump straight into the real create form, not a simplified version of it:
- Create Member — opens the same "Add Member" form used on the Members tab (First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, Email Address).
- Create Property — opens the same "Add Property" form used on the Properties tab (Title, Country, Address Line 1/2, City, State/Province, Zip, Lot Number).
- Create Invoice — opens the same "Create Invoice Schedule" form used under Balances, where you set the invoice name, amount, frequency, issuance/due date, and which property it's billed to. A one-time invoice uses this same form, since it's technically a schedule that only bills once.
Invoice Status and Member Status charts
Two donut charts summarize your organization's activity at a glance:
- Invoice Status — your total invoice count broken down by Open, Late, Paid, and Voided.
- Member Status — your total member count broken down by Created, Invited, Expired, Active, and Deactivated.
These charts are visual summaries only — the segments aren't clickable. To see the individual invoices or members behind a status (for example, every Late invoice), go to Balances for invoices or Members for members, and filter by that status there.
Recent Member Activity and Recent Property Activity
Below the charts, two lists show the most recently active members and properties in your organization — not just ones tied to your own account. Each row has a View Profile button that opens that member's or property's full profile page, so you can jump straight to a record without searching for it first.
Outstanding Invoices and My Properties
These two sections work differently from the rest of the page: instead of showing organization-wide data, they only show invoices and properties tied to your own account specifically. This matters if you're personally attached to a property in your own community (for example, if you're an admin who is also a homeowner there) — in that case these sections show your own unpaid bills and property, not a summary of the whole organization.
If you're not personally attached to any property, these sections will simply be empty — that doesn't mean nothing is outstanding for the organization as a whole. To see every outstanding invoice for the organization, go to Balances; to see every property, go to Properties.
- Outstanding Invoices lists every unpaid or past-due invoice billed to a property you're personally attached to, with INVOICE #, PROPERTY, ISSUED, DUE, STATUS, AMOUNT, LATE FEES, and ACTIONS columns, plus a running "Amount Owed" total above the table. Each row has a Pay button and an Actions menu.
- My Properties lists the property (or properties) you're personally attached to, showing the property name, address, and status, with a View Profile button that opens the property's profile page.
Clicking Pay on an outstanding invoice opens a "Select Payment Method" window. From there, Add New leads to a choice of Add & Save Card, Pay Once Without Saving, or Bank Account (ACH).
