# How Do I Undo a Cleared Bank Reconciliation Transaction
Anything that’s been matched, excluded, or paired as a transfer can be reversed from the Cleared tab if it was resolved incorrectly.
##### How to Get There
1. Click Financials in the left nav, then Bank Reconciliation.
2. Click the Cleared tab.
Every resolved transaction is listed here, tagged with how it cleared — Matched, Excluded, or Transfer — along with a Search cleared transactions box and a Filter dropdown (Cleared as, a date range, and a signed amount range) for finding a specific one.
1. Click Undo on the transaction to reverse.
##### Confirming the Undo
The Undo this reconciliation? window shows the transaction’s name, date, how it cleared, and amount, along with an optional Reason field that’s kept on the audit record.
What the undo does depends on how the transaction cleared: undoing a match reverses the GL entries that match posted and frees everything it settled to be matched again; undoing an exclusion simply returns the transaction to review, since nothing was posted for it in the first place. Either way, the transaction leaves Cleared and returns to For review.
1. Click Undo reconciliation to confirm.
A “Reconciliation undone. The transaction is back in For review” banner confirms it, and the transaction is ready to be matched, excluded, or paired again.
Each undo is also recorded in the account's activity log, along with who did it and when. See "How Do I View the Bank Reconciliation Activity Log?"
