# How Do I Submit a Support Request
The Support tab in the left nav gives you a direct way to send a message to the HOA Start Support team without leaving the platform, instead of emailing support separately. Owners and Org Admins can both use it.
##### **When would you use this?**
- Something on the platform looks wrong or isn't working as expected (e.g. an invoice total looks incorrect) and you want HOA Start to investigate.
- You need help with a task you're unsure how to complete, and want to attach a screenshot or document showing the issue.
##### **Steps**
1. Click Support in the left nav.
2. Enter a Title — a short summary of what you need help with (e.g. "Invoice #227 shows wrong amount"). This field is required.
3. Enter a Message — the details of your question or issue, using the rich-text toolbar above the message box (bold, italic, lists, links, etc.) to format it if helpful. This field is required.
1. Optionally add an attachment under Attachments, using either Attach from Document Center (a window opens where you click a folder, select a file, and click Attach) or Upload from device (upload a new file from your computer).
2. Click Submit.
##### **About attachments and storage**
The "0 B of 20 MB used" counter next to Attachments shows how much of a 20 MB limit for this support message you've used so far — this is separate from your organization's overall Document Center storage limit.
Uploaded files are saved to your organization's Document Center (into an "Email Attachments" folder by default) and count toward its storage, not just toward the 20 MB used on the support message itself. Click "Change folder" before uploading if you want the file saved somewhere else in Document Center instead of the default Email Attachments folder.
