# How Do I Search, Filter, and Sort the Properties List
Use the search box, Filter button, and Sort button above the Properties list to find a specific property or put the list in a different order.
##### **Search**
Above the table, a search box lets you search by Title, Lot Number, or Address all at once. Typing alone doesn't filter the list — you have to click the **Search** button or press Enter.
##### **Filter**
The **Filter** button opens a panel with a dedicated box for each column, so you can narrow by one specific field instead of the combined search:
- Title, Address Line 1, Address Line 2, Lot Number, City, State/Province, Zip, Country — type a value into a box and click the blue + next to it to add it to your filter.
- **Member Count** — filter by how many members are attached, using the Min and Max boxes.
- **Property Status** — Active is already selected when you open the panel. To also include inactive properties, choose Inactive from the Select Status dropdown.
The Filter button shows a small blue "1" badge for the filters in use. Because Property Status starts as Active, the badge already shows 1 before you touch anything; each extra filter or status you add increases it. Click Apply to filter the list, or Reset to clear the filters you added. Reset returns the list to its default view, with Property Status set back to Active, and the list refreshes right away without clicking Apply.
##### **Real-world example: a property is missing after deletion**
If a property disappears from the list right after you delete it, that’s expected — deleting a property is permanent, and a deleted property doesn’t appear under either the Active or Inactive filter. ##### **Sort**
The **Sort** button offers ascending/descending sort on Address, Title, Lot Number, Member Count, and Status. Only one sort field applies at a time — picking a new one replaces the previous sort.
