How Do I Search, Filter, and Sort the Properties List
Search
Above the table, a search box lets you search by Title, Lot Number, or Address all at once. Typing alone doesn't filter the list — you have to click the Search button or press Enter.
Filter
The Filter button opens a panel with a dedicated box for each column, so you can narrow by one specific field instead of the combined search:
- Title, Address Line 1, Address Line 2, Lot Number, City, State/Province, Zip, Country — free-text boxes.
- Member Count — filter to properties with a specific number of members attached.
- Property Status — a dropdown of Active, Inactive, or Deleted. It defaults to Active.
The Filter button shows a small blue "1" badge whenever at least one filter is active — since Property Status always defaults to Active, this badge is visible even before you touch anything else.
Real-world example: finding a deleted property
If a property disappears from the list right after you delete it and you need to check it or bring it back, open Filter and change Property Status to Deleted. It hasn't been permanently erased — it's just filtered out of the default Active view.
Sort
The Sort button offers ascending/descending sort on Address, Title, Lot Number, Member Count, and Status. Only one sort field applies at a time — picking a new one replaces the previous sort.
