How Do I Enable Credit Card and ACH Payments

Once an organization's Stripe account is verified and connected, payment methods for members can be turned on from the same Stripe Onboarding page used to start the connection.

How to Get There
  1. Click Organization Settings in the left nav.
  2. Click the Settings tab, then choose Stripe Onboarding from the left-hand sub-navigation.

A Stripe Customer ID displays on this page once Stripe finishes verification — this can take up to an hour to appear after the setup flow is submitted.

Payment Method Toggles
  • Enable Credit Card Payments — the fastest way for members to pay, but carries the highest processing fee.
  • Enable ACH Payments — lets members pay directly from their bank account. ACH (Automated Clearing House) is a direct bank-to-bank transfer — usually cheaper per transaction than card payments, but slower to settle (a few business days instead of instant). For example, a homeowner paying a $250 quarterly assessment via ACH has the amount debited straight from their checking account in 2–3 business days, versus an instant card charge that costs the HOA a higher swipe fee.
