How Do I Edit a Property

When would you use this?

• A community renumbers its lots and you need to update the Lot Number on file.
• A street or unit address changes or was entered incorrectly and needs correcting.
• The property's display Title needs to change to match a new naming convention.

Steps

1. Open the row's Actions dropdown from the Properties list (or the Actions button on the Property Profile page) and choose Edit. This opens the same form used for Add Property, pre-filled with the property's current values.

1. Update whatever field needs to change. For example, to relabel a lot number after a community renumbers its lots: clear the Lot Number field, type the new code, and continue to step 3.
2. Click Save.

A second confirmation appears — "Are you sure you want to save your edits to the Property [name]?" — with Cancel and Save buttons.

1. Click Save again to commit the change. The list updates immediately.
