# How Do I Edit a Member's Name, Phone, or Email

The Members list itself doesn't offer an Edit option — its row-level Actions menu only shows View, plus Deactivate (or Activate), Invite (or Uninvite), and Delete depending on the member's status. To change a member's name, phone number, or email address, open the member's own profile page instead.

##### **When would you use this?**

- A member changes their email address and asks you to update it on file so they keep getting invoice and communication emails.
- A name was misspelled when the member record was first created.
- A member gives the board a new phone number after moving or changing carriers.

##### **Steps**

1. Click Members in the left nav.
2. Find the member, open their row's Actions menu, and choose View.
3. On the Member Profile page, click Actions (top right), then Edit Profile.

1. Update First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, and/or Email Address as needed. Phone Number includes a country-code selector (defaults to United States, +1) — use it first if the member's number is outside the U.S.
2. Click Submit, then confirm in the dialog that appears ("Are you sure you want to save changes to \[Name\]'s Member account?") by clicking Save.
