# How Do I Delete a Folder in Document Center?

This article shows you how to delete a folder in Document Center. Owners and Org Admins can do this from the folder's Actions menu.

**Warning:** Deleting a folder does not move it anywhere for later recovery. A confirmation dialog appears stating "This cannot be undone." Confirming permanently deletes the folder (and everything inside it) immediately; there is no Trash to recover it from afterward.

##### **Steps**

1. In Document Center, find the folder you want to delete.
2. Click **Actions** at the end of its row (in grid view, hover over the tile and click the three dots).
3. Choose **Delete**.
4. In the confirmation dialog, click **Delete**.

The folder and everything inside it are deleted immediately.

##### **Good to Know**

- Deleting a folder removes the folder and everything inside it for good. Its confirmation says "This cannot be undone."
- The Email Attachments folder is locked (marked Locked) and has no Actions menu: it cannot be renamed, moved, or deleted.
