How Do I Create a New Organization

Every HOA or community client on the platform is its own "Organization" — a self-contained account with its own members, properties, documents, and billing. Take a moment before submitting, since some fields (like the Domain Path) are much easier to get right the first time than to fix later.

Before You Start
  • Confirm the organization's legal/display name.
  • Decide on a Domain Path (the web address slug). Keep it short, lowercase, and unique — changing it later means updating settings and could break links already shared with members.
  • Know the correct Billing Status and Pricing Tier to assign (these can be changed later, but starting correctly avoids cleanup).
How to Create the Organization
  1. From the left navigation, go to Staff Functions > Organizations. This opens the full list of every organization on the platform.
  2. Click the blue + Add Organization button in the top-right.
  3. Fill in Organization Name (required) — the client's actual community name, e.g. "Serendipity Homeowners Association."
  4. Fill in Domain Path (required) — this becomes the organization's unique web address slug.
  5. Select a Billing Status (required): Trial, Paid, Suspended, or Demo.
  6. Select a Pricing Tier (required): Standard, Premium, White Glove (higher-touch support), Custom, or Trial.
  7. Select the Timezone (defaults to Eastern Time). This affects when invoices are issued and marked due, so set it to where the community actually is.
  8. Select the Currency (defaults to USD). Only a limited list of currencies is available: BSD, CAD, KYD, CRC, DOP, MXN, GBP, and USD.
  9. Click Submit to create the organization, or Cancel to back out.
Billing Status Options
  • Trial — evaluating the product, not yet a paying customer.
  • Paid — an active, billed customer.
  • Suspended — access paused, typically for non-payment or a support hold.
  • Demo — an internal, sales, or test org, never billed.
