# How Do I Change or Remove the Organization Photo?
This article shows you how to upload a new organization photo and how to remove the current one. Owners and Org Admins can both use the photo buttons in the header at the top of Organization Settings.
**Before you remove a photo:** The confirmation message says you cannot undo the removal. Keep a copy of the current image on your computer if you may want to use it again.
##### **When would you use this?**
- Adding your community's logo or an aerial photo of the neighborhood after you set up the organization.
- Replacing an older photo after the community updates its look.
- Removing a photo you no longer want shown in the organization header.
##### **Photo requirements**
- The file must be an image. Any other file type shows the message "Please select a valid image file."
- The file must be smaller than 5 MB. A larger file shows a message such as "File size must be less than 5MB."
- The image must be at least 200 x 200 pixels. A smaller image shows "Image dimensions must be at least 200x200 pixels."
##### **Steps to upload a photo**
1. Click Organization Settings in the left nav.
2. In the header at the top of the page, click the blue camera button on the photo (its tooltip reads "Upload new avatar"). A window opens so you can choose a file from your computer.
3. Choose your image file. A "Crop Your Avatar" window opens with a cropping box over your image.
4. Click Apply.
##### **Steps to remove the photo**
1. Click Organization Settings in the left nav.
2. In the header, click the red X at the top corner of the photo (its tooltip reads "Remove avatar"). The red X appears only when the organization has a photo.
3. Read the confirmation, "Are you sure you want to delete this Organization's avatar? You cannot undo this change." Click Cancel to keep the photo, or click Delete to remove it.
##### **Good to Know**
- The photo appears in the header at the top of Organization Settings.
- Photo uploads are recorded in the Activity Logs tab, in an entry that reads "Avatar uploaded for the Organization" followed by your organization name.
